Simba survived the shed, help him survive surgery!
Simba is a tiny kitten who was found abandoned in a shed, along with his two siblings, while our neighbor lay in the hospital after losing her husband. I stepped up to foster them, giving them the love they never had.
But now Simba is fighting for his life. He has a severe rectal prolapse, and his tiny stomach is so impacted that his intestine could rupture at any moment—or he could develop deadly sepsis. He has been in and out of the ER, and the vet says he needs emergency surgery immediately.
Here's the heartbreaking part: Cathy's Cats (cathyscats.net) is a very small rescue. With kitten season in full swing, their funds are completely drained. I've already poured my own money into his vet bills, but the costs are climbing faster than we can keep up.
We are Simba's only chance. Without help, we can't afford the surgery that will save his life.
